Moved on to 4 day split from the P90x. Weight was down to 164 after v diet 4 weeks ago. Now up to 171, scale says 21% BF. My cal count is still a little low (avg 1500 per day) but I am keeping my water intake to about 1g a day evenly spread out over my waking hours.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Monday was great with the increased weight. I could &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;really&lt;/span&gt; feel the add. weight that I was using. My back was feeling it on Tues like it never did before (save the very first day). I have to &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;attributed&lt;/span&gt; this to the increased weight on the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;flys&lt;/span&gt; and lawn-mowers and all the cheat reps on the pull-up bar. My back is my second weakest point behind &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;flexibility&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tues. &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;Lys&lt;/span&gt; wanted to do the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;cardio&lt;/span&gt; x option instead of &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;Plyo&lt;/span&gt;. As much as I like &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Plyo&lt;/span&gt; I figured it would be too much for her as its still a struggle for me, and being as I have never even seen it before....... It SUCKED! (for me anyway) 1 third Yoga, 1 third &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;Kenpo&lt;/span&gt;, and 1/3 &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;plyo&lt;/span&gt;. Well at least it was one third enjoyable. &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10"&gt;Don't&lt;/span&gt; get me wrong, its a good workout, just not my style.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wed is Shoulders and Arms. I love this workout. I had a great workout and again, the extra weight was &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11"&gt;awesome&lt;/span&gt;. BTW if you &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_12"&gt;don't&lt;/span&gt; have a mirror in your workout area, get one! I never knew how much it would help me with my form, and the fact that I could see the muscles working was providing the extra motivation to knock out those extra reps.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I tossed in 45 min &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_13"&gt;cardio&lt;/span&gt; at the gym on Thursday. After doing Yoga again (I skipped most of it in R1) I think I have been able to see that the problem is with my &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_14"&gt;flexibility&lt;/span&gt; and not strength. My current train of thought is to do X &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_15"&gt;Stretch&lt;/span&gt; on &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_16"&gt;Thursdays&lt;/span&gt; and do Yoga on Sundays. This will give me more time on Sundays and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_17"&gt;Lys&lt;/span&gt; can act as my spotter.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And here we are on Friday and this is the situation I find myself in. I was &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_18"&gt;sched&lt;/span&gt;. to come into work tonight at 10pm. No prob, get up at 7 workout, eat shower, out the door right?? Nope! Turns out one of my coworkers was in a wreck on her way in so I came in early for what will now turn into a 16 hour shift! Fear not friends, for I have brought the DVDs to work with me! Will I have time to do my legs tonight.........we'll see...been kinda busy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;NO Excuses!! I will get my legs and back , Ab ripper x, &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_19"&gt;Kenpo&lt;/span&gt; and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_20"&gt;Stretching&lt;/span&gt; in by midnight Sunday! I deleted my old round 1 stuff to clean the blog up a bit. Reflecting on round one, i did have several road blocks that caused me not to get the full &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;benefits&lt;/span&gt; of the program but it still surpassed my expectations. 1 week my wife was in a bad collision that put her in the hospital (and me by her side) for 4 days, and I got sick another week.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also did not stick to the P90X meal plan. i ate clean most of the time but I could have done much better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also slacked off on the ab/yoga/and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;kenpo&lt;/span&gt; days..... &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;alot&lt;/span&gt;!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After all was said and done, I lost almost 10lbs (193-183) and best of all have a lot more def. in my arms and feel great. I also went from 36 jeans down to a loose 32!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So on to two!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have created an Excel journal that I am using to keep track of everything I am doing and I hope to make it avail. for all to see. Although I am not fully on the meal plan, I have noticed that my proportions of pro/&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;carbs&lt;/span&gt;/fat seem to be almost perfectly &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;in line&lt;/span&gt; with the P90X guide. i have also &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;increased&lt;/span&gt; my water intake and my goal is 1g a day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have left my &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;pre&lt;/span&gt; and post round 1 photos (yes, i know they are &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;terrible&lt;/span&gt;) and will try to update more often.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My goal is to do every exercise every day, Period! I still wont follow the meal plan to the T as i am happy with my own but I will make sure that my cal. are in the correct range. I am trying to cut on this round and Ward has put $75 down if i can get my weight sub 170!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;hmmmm&lt;/span&gt;.....12 week at 2lbs per week is 24 lbs....24-13 is 11 extra..........Yeah, no prob, save up Ward.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;BTW...Wards goal is to gain 13lbs (of muscle, not beer)..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have never been as driven as &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;I am&lt;/span&gt; right now. I am fully focused. Now if I can only get my sleep schedule down so I can get my 8 hours all at one time......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And one last thing. All I had for round 1 was some Adj. 25lb weights. They worked great but were to light for some things. So even though I am thanking him tonight, I reserve the right to curse him out and put a hex on his house in the future.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;I'm&lt;/span&gt; kinda nervous about starting &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;tomorrow&lt;/span&gt;.
